Mullein stalks dipped in suet were historically used to make candles and torches for centuries. These mullein stalk candles are updated with a generous coating of fragrant bayberry wax for your most sacred occasions. The distinctive resinous aroma of bayberry, blended with 1/3 beeswax, brings a multisensory experience to your ceremony, meditation, spell, convocation, or celebration. 

The candles range in length from 4" to 6" and vary in thickness from 3/4" to over 1". 

Mullein candles burn with a large tall active flame so they are best used outdoors. You will have to find a way to secure the stem in an appropriate candle holder. They have surprisingly little smoke while burning but if you blow them out, they get quite smoky when extinguishing.
 
Bayberry wax is a rare and magickal wax considered to be the smoothest and most luxurious of all candle waxes. It is produced by harvesting and boiling the berries of the Bayberry Shrub and it takes about 15 pounds of bayberries to make just one pound of bayberry wax!
