This pentacle is designed to protect travelers and invoke the spirits that escort them safely upon their journey. “It serveth to invoke those Spirits who can transport thee from one place unto another, over a long distance and in short time.” The spirits names are spelled out in the “Passing of the River” script, a magical alphabet designed by 16th century mystic Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa. Psalm 91:11, 12 shall comfort you in your travels:

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
