This found object assemblage is done with a vintage 5" X 14" wooden drawer. Inside the drawer, the shadowbox is a collection of copies of vintage illustrations. There is an illustration of two dancers, a palm reading diagram, a tarot card, an illustration of a woman reading tea leaves, and a fortune teller sign. The found objects are a vintage ceramic hand holding a fan, and I added a mercury glass ornament to the hand. There is also a tiny teacup with some tea leaves at the bottom. I added an all-knowing eye which is mounted onto a compass coin. There is also a little decorated bottle, a sun charm, and a vintage face. The drawer is embellished with a vintage-looking fabric trim, and two small metal fan charms were used for the corner decoration—a fun mix of vintage fortune-telling.
